What kind of school is Paul Habans Charter School?
Paul Habans Charter School is an open-enrollment public charter school. We are non-selective, which means that anyone can apply to attend our school and we have no admissions requirements. We serve students primarily from the Algiers neighborhood on the west bank of the Mississippi River, though we provide free bus service to students anywhere in Orleans Parish.

Habans serves Pre-K through 8th grade.

Does Paul Habans Charter School provide transportation?
All Habans students within Orleans Parish are eligible for bus service.

Where can I purchase a uniform for my child?
Uniforms may be purchased only at the Paul Habans campus. Please visit us at 3819 Herschel Street, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

What hours will be my child be in school?
School Hours are 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with early dismissal at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays for teacher professional development.
